  1. Well put, Jemmy.

    People respect laws that honor common sense, and the fewer the better.

    The gadfly lawyer blogger recently opined favorably on the notion of Texas having a full-time legislature. Of course, I am not surprised, inasmuch as few of his opinions in the legal realm align with mine.

    Rather than Texas getting a year-round Legislature, maybe - before it's too late - the U.S. should adopt a part-time one.

    Just my 2 pence.
