The Sunday Edition (.010)

Welcome to the NTD Sunday Edition! Lots of gun law news last week and we're going to share some of it with you. As a reminder, don't forget to stock up because the truth is, you can never have enough ammo! Tomorrow is the 4th of July! Happy Independence Day! Go eat a hot dog and have a slice of watermelon while you consider all the things that make you an American, not least of which is your God-given right to self-protection.

The Fix Is In. Even Donald Trump says the "fix" is in for the upcoming presidential election. America has been bought and sold. If you happen to work for the government -- state, local, or federal -- with the ongoing, slow-motion destruction of the American economy (and a way of life that has kept us safe and prosperous for 240 years, you may soon be the only ones in the entire country to be getting a paycheck, although it'll be fiat currency. Additionally, you probably need to be aware that most of us free citizens out here think less and less of your authority. You see, if you work for the government, you're part of the problem.

The Supreme Court Rules Misdemeanor Domestic Violence Conviction Enough to Lose 2nd Amendment Rights. In the wake of the Orlando shooting, and renewed calls from Democrats for increased gun control measures, the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld a broad federal law that bans people convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence from owning a firearm.

The law in question, Lautenberg Amendment, states that any person “who has been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence” cannot purchase or receive a firearm. Gun rights groups argued in vain that the men should not lose their constitutional right due to a misdemeanor conviction. Be aware that the continued march towards disarming the U.S. domestic population continues through judicial and legislative means.

In a 6-2 ruling, the court upheld the opinion that domestic violence convictions can result in gun ownership restrictions, even if the misdemeanor is only the result of recklessness rather than intent. Justices Roberts, Kennedy, Ginsburg, Breyer and Alito were in the majority, with Thomas and Sotomayor dissenting.

Another facet to this report is the fact that police beat their wives or girlfriends at nearly double that of the regular population. Would the hundreds of officers a year convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence be forced to turn in their guns? If history is any indicator, the answer to that question is no.

There is a very real and ongoing attempt, with global origins (see UN Arms Trade Treaty), to regulate firearms out of common public ownership. The people would be wise to remain vigilant in the face of growing attempts at increased state control and regulation over one of the most basic of human rights; the right to self-defense.

Better get one of these too. Colt 1911 .45

Government Employees Are More Important Than You. There are now more non-military government employees who carry guns than there are U.S. Marines, according to a new report.

Open the Books, a taxpayer watchdog group, released a study Wednesday that finds domestic government agencies continue to grow their stockpiles of military-style weapons, as Democrats sat on the House floor calling for more restrictions on what guns American citizens can buy.

The “Militarization of America” report found civilian agencies spent $1.48 billion on guns, ammunition, and military-style equipment between 2006 and 2014. Examples include IRS agents with AR-15s, and EPA bureaucrats wearing camouflage.

“Regulatory enforcement within administrative agencies now carries the might of military-style equipment and weapons,” Open the Books said. “For example, the Food and Drug Administration includes 183 armed ‘special agents,’ a 50 percent increase over the ten years from 1998-2008. At Health and Human Services (HHS), ‘Special Office of Inspector General Agents’ are now trained with sophisticated weaponry by the same contractors who train our military special forces troops.”

Benghazi Report: Here’s What They’re Hiding. Facts point to Benghazi's use as transfer hub to ship guns to ISIS. The House Select Committee on Benghazi released a report attacking the Obama administration’s response to the terror attack in Benghazi, while conveniently omitting information pointing to Benghazi’s use as a staging ground for clandestine arms transfers to Al-Qaeda-linked rebels in Syria.

The nearly 800-page report, released earlier this week, attacked then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over her failure to provide adequate security for America’s diplomatic facilities in Libya in the aftermath of the Western-backed overthrow of Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi, as well as President Obama and his administration for perpetuating the narrative that the attack was caused by outrage over a YouTube video depicting the Muslim Prophet Muhammad.

Yet the committee’s report omitted all facts relating to the circumstances surrounding the Benghazi attack and the CIA’s clandestine arms smuggling program to Al-Qaeda-linked rebels fighting to overthrow the Syrian government.

As Kurt Nimmo reported, “a number of guests appearing on the Alex Jones Show following the attack have built an indisputable case that the CIA was shipping arms from U.S.-controlled facilities located at the U.S. mission in Benghazi to its mercenaries in Syria and the murder of ambassador Stevens was carried out by an al-Qaeda affiliated group as part of a turf war between the CIA and elements in the Pentagon.”

Retired Army Lt. General William G. Boykin, speaking with CNS News, suggested the United States was using the CIA annex in Benghazi to facilitate secret arms transfers to rebels in Syria, explaining Ambassador Chris Stevens’ presence in the city.

“Then what was Stevens doing there on September 11 of 2012?” Boykin said. “More supposition was that he was now funneling guns to the rebel forces in Syria, using essentially the Turks to facilitate that. Was that occurring, (a), and if so, was it a legal covert action?”

According to reports, the CIA subjected operatives to monthly polygraph tests in an attempt to suppress details of the arms smuggling operation in Benghazi that was ongoing when the attack occurred.

It should come as no surprise that any facts detailing arms transfers to Al-Qaeda-linked rebels in Syria would be kept secret, as the United States, NATO, Saudi Arabia and the Sunni Gulf States have made it their mission to fund and arm radical Wahhabist groups to destabilize the Middle East and bring about a clash of civilizations.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign spokesman, Brian Fallon, called the report a rehash of “discredited conspiracy theories,” a term ironically coined by the CIA in 1967 to attack anyone who questions the government narrative.

• The current administration's tactics of in-your-face intimidation and exclusion of rights guaranteed by a gasping Constitution is no more evident than in the illegal meeting between US Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former president Bill Clinton. The two met for a brief meeting on the tarmac of the Denver Phoenix airport, giving forth the appearance of special treatment for Hillary Clinton who is currently under investigation by the FBI for espionage.

• Hey! Are you a communist? Go here to find out.

• One good thing about all the gun control news is that it keeps all the sexual liberation headlines out of the news. For instance, the pentagon now says it's okay to be transgender and serve in the military. It's a wonderful thing, don't you think? Now we must begin working to include persons under the age of 17. Just think of all the covert uses for children in the military. They're small! They can go places adults can't.

• Do you really believe most if not all the recent mass shootings in the USA are not arranged and manipulated by forces in our own government? If you don't believe it, you are simply not paying enough attention.

Lastly, I'd like to remind my readers that when they do come for your guns, they're actually coming for you. Have a great 4th of July, everybody and thanks for reading!
